Meet Our Visionary Leader
- Meet Angela: CEO and Founder of EPIC with Over 20 Years in Construction Angela is an experienced professional in the construction industry, bringing over two decades of diverse expertise to her role as CEO and Founder of EPIC.
- Angela’s Unique Journey Angela’s career journey started at a young age, working on her father’s turf farm and later managing a chain of locksmith stores in Brisbane. She became one of only two females in Queensland trained in complex locksmithing systems.
- A Wealth of Expertise Across Construction Sectors Angela has accumulated expertise in a wide range of construction sectors, including oil and gas, undersea electricity interconnectors, civil engineering, renewables, power generation, water management, commercial construction, government initiatives, forestry, tourism, marketing, and major international projects in various countries.
- Advocating for Women in Construction through EPIC Angela’s personal experiences as a FIFO worker in remote locations exposed her to the challenges faced by women in the industry, including harassment, discrimination, and intimidation. Her commitment to addressing these issues led to the founding of EPIC, a specialized organization dedicated to supporting, educating and empowering women in the construction industry.
